You Can’t Get a Bad Shot if You Try!
Custer, a real estate agent and drone videographer, came out to the Twin Buttes Ranch on a private tour.
In one afternoon he shot this truly beautiful aerial video of the ranch.
After reviewing the initial, unedited footage on his phone’s tiny screen, he shook his head in amazement:
“It’s just impossible to get a bad shot out here!”
Extended Golden Hours
Arizona is famous for open skies, long sunny days, and dramatic light. Twin Buttes Ranch is home to all of those – and that so-called “magic hour” when the light is soft, golden, and glowing orange happens often, and is often extended. The photos and videos that come out of the golden hours are truly stunning when taken against the dramatic landscapes and scenic Western backdrops.
In so many filming locations the trick is in trying to edit out the noise, or make something simple look extraordinary. On the Twin Buttes Ranch, it’s almost impossible to make something look average.
People
Just an average day out on the Twin Buttes Ranch, waiting around for a private tour to conclude…
The model:
- wasn’t wearing make-up
- was in casual clothes
- and the wind had completely torn her hairdo apart
Not to mention the photographer wasn’t using a tripod!
Yet a quick turn of the camera, and the ordinary becomes iconic…a beautiful profile shot against a stunning background.
