For over half a century the Fitzgerald Family has protected and preserved the incredible natural, geographical, and archeological resources on what is today The Twin Buttes Ranch.
Using environmentally safe cattle ranching practices we’ve provided open water tanks, limited, wildlife safe fencing, sustainable roads, and grass conservation.
We’ve also taken care to protect the rich history left by the Anasazi people in the form of petroglyphs, pottery shard remnants, arrowheads, and other “past civilization leftovers.”
Also intact is the fascinating geological integrity of the Twin Buttes Ranch. From the impressive natural monoliths, buttes, mesas, and the iconic rim, to dryland ditches, riverbeds, washes, and badland shale country the ranch remains largely untouched.
